Ronaldo’s fourth for Juventus is the trophy, having joined Real Madrid’s Serie A giants in 2018.

The club’s search of a Serie A crown this season, though, would be tough, with Juve having won the championship nine seasons running in a genuine race for the Scudetto.

Ronaldo told Rai Sport after the match, “We are very happy with the win, it was hard, especially since the pitch was awful, but we got it done.

“In spite of the poor results against Inter, we showed a different mindset. This is the past, this is a very valuable medal, and we think this will give the team more confidence in the future.

Milan and Inter are really good,” he added, “but I believe we’ve got what it takes to win. It’s going to be very challenging, but I think the Scudetto is still possible.
