After being pulled off during Manchester United’s superb derby victory over City on Sunday, Marcus Rashford will undergo an ankle scan on Monday morning.
After our 2-0 win, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer announced that our no.10 had suffered an ankle injury when sprinting back to make a crucial tackle when City broke forward.
Rashford was pulled off after 73 minutes, but his boss is optimistic that the problem isn’t serious.
“It’s one of them,” says the narrator. Ole told club media, “It was a perfect recovery race, a recovery jog, he saved maybe a goal, but he sacrificed himself for the team.”
“I believe it has to do with his ankle. I’m not a doctor, so I’m hoping it’s not too serious. In the morning, we’ll have to search him.
