For the rest of the 2020-21 season, Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri has joined Spanish side Alaves on loan. During the last summer transfer window from Uruguay, Pellistri joined United and is yet to make an appearance for the Reds’ first team. For the U23s, though, Pellistri impressed, and although the coaching staff agreed that he was not yet ready to make his senior debut for United, he would benefit from making the move up elsewhere.
Alaves are actually 18th in La Liga, and while a relegation struggle is not generally the kindest atmosphere for a young club, the Babazorros have only scored 18 goals during the season in the league and could urgently use more attacking hazard.

Two United youngsters have been recalled early from their temporary motions in other loan news, only to be diverted elsewhere. James Garner had his Watford spell cancelled, and for the remainder of the ongoing campaign, he joined Nottingham Forest. Earlier this season, Garner had starred frequently for Hornets, but Garner had found minutes tough to come by after new boss Xisco Munoz took over.

Tahith Chong has had his Werder Bremen loan cancelled, and for the rest of the season he has now joined Club Brugge. In all the competitions, Chong made just 13 appearances for the German side, and he wants to see further action for Brugge, who is currently at the top of the Belgian table.
Brandon Williams is one player who will not be joining his young teammates on loan. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has announced that for the rest of the season, the young fullback will stay at United and provide depth at both full-back roles.
