Madrid Set to Seal David Alaba Signing on 4year Deal

It appears like David Alaba has been sought by much of Europe since his contract with Bayern Munich is due to expire. Premier League viewers will not see Alaba consistently next season, however, as the Austrian has apparently decided to join Real Madrid on a four-year deal. Alaba will sign a transfer at the end of the season that will lift eyebrows about the future of Sergio Ramos.

Austrian defender David Alaba has recently agreed to sign a four-year deal with Spanish champions Real Madrid.

At the end of the season, Alaba, 28, is out of contract at Bayern Munich and has many suitors around Europe, including the Liverpool Premier League quartet, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea, as well as the PSG Ligue 1 winners.

He opted to sign for the 11-time Champions League winners, though, and he would earn € 230,000 a week after tax from the Guardian article.

Ramos, one of the Spanish club’s icons, has been associated with a move to PSG.

After some fairly volatile quotes from Bayern President Herbert Hainer, who effectively closed the book on any future renewal for Alaba, the Alaba news comes to the fore.
